Easy make ahead salad perfect for a large gathering

Ingredients

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce torn or chopped into bite size pieces

  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped

  • 1 10 oz package of frozen peas

  • 4 hard boiled eggs

  • 6-8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

  • Dressing
  • 1 8 oz carton of sour cream

  • 1 cup of mayonnaise

  • 1 packet of ranch dressing mix

Directions

  • Layer the first six ingredients in a large bowlStep 2
  • Combine the dressing ingredients in a bowl, and spread over the top of the ingredients in the large bowl; spreading to the edges to seal in saladSeven Layer ready for fridge
  • Sprinkle with 1 1/2 tsp of Lawry’s salad seasoning.
  • Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight
  • Stir to combine before serving

Notes

  • I steam the eggs for 13 minutes to make easy to peel hard boiled eggs
