A quick, chewy, chocolatey, easy dessert, delicious with ice cream

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 2 Tbs. cocoa

  • 1/4 tsp table salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecan, optional

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Melt butter in microwave safe bowl. Stir in sugar
  • Add eggs
  • Sift together dry ingredients; stir into wet mixture
  • Add vanilla and pecans if using
  • Pour into 9 inch greased and floured pie pan
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes
